Director’s Report for August, September, October & November, 2005

Dr. Eddie Flowers, Director

Dear Ministry Partner:

I Praise the Lord for those folks who can put out a nice newsletter every month with weekly updates on the Internet. I’ve got a lot to learn as I can hardly find the time to put out my monthly newsletter about every three months.

We are back up to full schedule and then some. I am very thankful for the health to keep my schedule and for the opportunities the Lord has given us to minister these past few months.

I has been good to be back on the road and busy for the Lord. July was full of camps and what a joy it was to be able to be around young people for the whole month. We preached a Junior Camp for the Oklahoma Brethren at Lake Texoma Baptist Camp and had a great time with them. Souls were saved and I believe lives were helped. Then we had two of our own camps and had great crowds and 19 saved over all in them, and 4 surrender to preach and 3 to the mission field. It was truly a blessed time to see old friends and to make new ones as well. Add those three to the two we did in June and we held 5 camps all totaled this year and had a chance to minister to hundreds of young people.

I just returned [August 26] from preaching a tent meeting in Monterrey, Mexico, and we had 12 saved and a great crowd. This was my 7th year to do this meeting and each year the crowd grows, and we have the opportunity to teach more and more National Pastors. That is the biggest need in Mexico at this time. We now have churches in most of the villages we work in and they have pastor’s, who need training and teaching on doctrinal issues. I have set aside 10 day trips to the field all the rest of this year and next year to do just that. I would ask that you pray for me that I can have the wisdom to help and not hinder.

Have you noticed the price of gas has gone up? Ha! We just took a gooseneck load of supplies to Florida, some for Africa and some for the folks caught in all these hurricanes. Bro. Moseley and Amazing Grace Ministries are doing a great job of helping there. The cost for the trip was $180 more than the one six months ago. The Lord has provided, and I just ask you to make it a matter of prayer for all missions work will be hurt if this continues for a long period of time.

TRAIL DUST FROM THE DIRECTOR!

NOVEMBER:

7-11……….Mulberry Tree Baptist Church. Stilwell, OK.
13-16… . …Missions Conference. Grace Baptist Church. Conway, AR.
20-23……. Harbor Baptist Church. Hampton, VA.
28……… . .Award Banquet. Grace Baptist Church. Conway, AR.
28pm-29… Jacksonville, FL.

Please remember to pray for all your missionaries and remember us as well. I see a greater need for what we are doing today than I did 16 years ago when we started and it is so true, the laborers are few, but God is Mighty and can deliver by many or by few, He is Able. Sometimes it just takes a little help.

Thanks!

Bro. Eddie

Director’s Report for April, May, June & July, 2005

Dr. Eddie Flowers, Director

Greetings From Our House To Yours:

We have been on the run, so our report is a little late. Sorry about that. I want to thank you for your prayers during my recent illness. It was a long, tough battle, but I am about back to normal and I am able to keep a full schedule again. Praise the Lord!

We were saddened by the passing of G. Elmo Renegar on May 8th. Bro. Billy Seats and I held his funeral on the 11th of May. He was 88 years old and was ready to go.

We have had a fantastic May at Grace Baptist Church. The Lord has added to our church, regularly, all month long.

Trail Dust From Bro. Eddie

April

4-6……..Harbor Baptist Church, Hampton, VA.
10-12…..Moved a Missionary to Lexington, KY.
18-19…..18th Annual Preachers’ Meeting at Grace Baptist Church, Conway, AR.
24-27…...Had to cancel a missions conference due to illness.

May

1-4………Rose Hill Baptist Church, DeQueen, AR.
16-20……Four Visions Cherokee Baptist Church, Stillwell, OK.

June & July

6-10……...Tent Meeting at White River Baptist, St. Paul, AR.
12-17…….Camp One.
29-July 2…Family Camp – Camp Victory, Livonia, MO.

Mission Projects From Our Preachers’ Meeting

We were able to raise $8,000.00 for two projects. We bought land for a Church and Bible Institute on the outskirts of Mexico City. And we bought land on the Choctow Reservation, just out of Watson, OK. We are helping them get a building up at the present time.

Our presses have been rolling and we are nearly ready for the big conference in Monterrey, Mexico in August. We usually give out over 3 tons of material to the pastors who are assembled. They carry it home to their villages. Pray for their part of our ministry.

We nearly have our trailer load of medical supplies for Africa via Bro. Mosley in Jacksonville, FL. That trailer will leave soon. What an opportunity to be a help to them.

Thanks for your support. It is critical now with the increased fuel cost. It has added about $25.00 per fill-up and that adds up quickly. Without you we could not reach all we are reaching.

Thanks again and may God Bless.

Bro. Eddie.

BRO. ED SEZ
SMILE

Notice each little face and its actions,  it will bless you!

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I  asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you! .

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own! ,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might  enjoy life.
God said, No.

I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

"To the world you might be one person, but  to one
person you just might be the world"

THIS DAY IS YOURS. DON'T THROW IT AWAY

If this has been a blessing to you, invite others to visit our web page.

May God Bless You.
Bro. Eddie
